So today sucked for a number of reasons:
1. My school soccer team lost 2-0 this afternoon and we played like a rancid bag of shit.
2. The Tegan and Sara concert is 41 days away and I still havn't gotten permission to go
3. Only a handful of members showed up for the GSA meeting today
4. It's been raining nonstop for like a week
5. My Tegan and Sara sweatshirt has yet to come
6. My period started a few days early
7. I have practice at 9am in the rain tomarrow after #1
8. We've started the trig portion of math and I am so fucking lost it's insane
and the good news:
1. I got 3 As and 3 Bs for this semester
2. I have 3 games next week

Testy Alligator
So I had a soccer game yesterday, and the ref was one of those needs-to-retake-ref-school type of guys. so he was going around making his bad calls and I had a breakaway in the box. The player tripped me and we both went down. He called it on me, giving them the kick. I lost composure for a sec and I yelled Are you blind?! at the ref. he laughed and patted me on the shoulder and said "Testy little rascal, arn't you?" I was struck speechless and my teammate who overheard was on all fours laughing. And for the past few weeks I've been singing Alligator by Tegan and Sara at practice so one of my teammates decided it would be funny to call me Testy Alligator and now the whole team has caught on. I happen to think it's a pretty rad nickname.

Post-Xmas
so merry christmas/happy holidays/happy december. so xmas was good this year. i got Tegan and Sara's Sainthood album, new headphones, a big book of countryside Ireland, and a rockin black and green pinstriped vest from Hot Topic. my brother gave me this rad sticker that says TOLERANCE. it's one of those that has a differnet symbol for each letter [T is a cross, O is a peace sign, A is the star of david, etc etc]. i love it.
The Ireland book is amazing. I am over half Irish and I'm at a point in my life where I feel a great pull towards Ireland and I desperatly wish to go there, so the book is that much more amazing.
I am a huge Tegan and Sara fan, but I only discovered them about a month ago. I started with So Jealous, moved on to The Con, and now at Sainthood. I wanted to take it slow so I wouldn't just be hit with 50 songs so I am just arriving at their latest. The Con is my favorite album but Sainthood isn't bad. I especially love love LOVE the song Arrow. Paperback Head, On Directing, and Red Belt are a few other of my favs. Tegan and Sara are stopping my way in March on their tour and my mom initially was going to take me. Now she's not sure but I will go one way or another ;).
I just got my pink slip which means my permit is coming up! I'm 16 so I am so ready to hit the road.
Well, the alumni game for school is on Tuesday. We are going to get creamed. The seniors from last year were extremely talented with 4 of them in college soccer. Seeing as over half the team this year is sophmores...uh oh :)

The Beginning
I've decided to take a crack at blogging. I'm a junior in high school and I play soccer for the school team. Preseason began in late November and I was named Captain of the team. At practice tonight, I was stripped of my Captain's Band because I don't speak my mind to my team. I'm not the most talkative person [my Dad's favorite adjective is 'laconic'] so I figured I'll start with a blog and see how it goes.
